Remember the Plan:

  You must create a makeup for a God, a Fairy, a Mythical Beast or Alien, that combines elements from the natural world (characteristics of animals, plants or minerals) and humanoid appearance.  The skin MUST have a color, texture or pattern that is not normally human.  You may use store-bought or home-made prosthesis or stencils if you wish.

What to do:

  • Consult your rendering and gather your makeup materials
  • Apply your makeup for the Fantasy Mythical Creature Makeup Project, to your face or your model’s face and either have your instructor (Tara) photograph it, or photograph it yourself for grading. (Include a photo with the makeup and the rendering.)
    • If doing your own photo shoot Costume yourself from the shoulders up with fabric/props, etc. you found. 
    • Do a  photo shoot of this project and give yourself time to get some perfect clear photos from many angles and upload at least the best 3-4 to the link below. It is OK to have a friend take your photos, but if they do, MAKE THEM WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW!!!
